This nozzle generates a water sheet with a somewhat more turbulent regime than the mushroom jet and which raises more height. This water sheet leaves the nozzle with a departure angle which causes a parabolic pattern.
It is in its fall when the water sheet breaks, generating a chalice shape. It generates more noise in its normal operation than the mushroom due to the broken water fall, which makes it suitable for outdoor sources, as an effect combined with other jets. It is easy and attractive to illuminate this nozzle with underwater lights due to the low height.
